At this year's LGBTQ+ History Month talk, we were very excited to welcome Prof. Alex Sharpe from the University of Warwick. She talked about David Bowie's art and music, and its relationship to love in its many forms.

Her lecture explained how Bowie subverted societal norms, linking Bowie love to the concept of freedom. It also explored three love lessons in Bowie’s work: love as letting go, love as humility, and love as posthuman.

Thank you Prof. Sharpe for this enlighting and engaging talk!
