We are delighted to announce that the Network's 'Welcome to Cambridge' event for the start of the 2023/24 academic year will feature a talk from Sandi Toksvig, followed by drinks and a formal dinner in Robinson College on Tuesday 17th October 2023.

Sandi Toksvig needs very little introduction. She will be familiar to many of you as the host of QI and Extraordinary Escapes, former host of The Great British Boke Off and Radio 4’s The News Quiz and appearances on dozens of other radio and television programmes. She holds honorary degrees from five UK universities, as well as Honorary Fellowships from three Cambridge Colleges. When she came out in 1994, she was one of the first lesbians in public life and has paved the way for a generation of women. In 2015, she co-founded the Women’s Equality Party to give women a greater voice in politics. She has published over 20 books for children and adults.
