We are pleased to announce that we will be celebrating Pride Month 2023 with a talk from Lisa Power MBE.
Lisa was the volunteer for the Lesbian and Gay Switchboard and Secretary General of the International Lesbian and Gay Association. Later she co-founded the Pink Paper and Stonewall, and became Policy Director for the Terrence Higgins Trust. Amongst other accolades she was the first openly LGBT person to speak at the United Nations. Lisa will be talking about her history of activism, the barriers that queer people continue to face and the next steps to bringing about change.
